There’s more on the way but I just had to share one of my faves asap!
I thought I would only ever hear the words ‘my one true love’ in a movie like Princess Bride. But it almost burst my heart this Saturday to hear these words spoken earnestly by Tui and Geoff – to each other. So much love and laughter on this beautiful Sydney day. There are so many emotions swelling around on the face of a waiting groom – Tui was a tad late but arrived in a flurry of sunshine and sexiness and the smile on Geoff’s face showed all his concerns had floated away on the breeze…
no comments Thank you to all my fans that voted for me in the Blue Mountains Business Awards – People’s Choice section. I received an email today confirming I am a finalist in this year’s award! We have to wait until 14th October to find out if we are the overall winner. If it wasn’t for your support and encouragement I wouldn’t be a finalist in this important Business Award in the Blue Mountains, in under 2 years of being in this new community. I wanted to thank you all with a little gift – every facebook fan who books a session or wedding with me before 20th September – and mentions the People’s Choice Award, will receive an Art Folio Triptych 4×6″ for free! In the meantime, here’s a quick pic from the gorgeous wedding of Tui and Geoff on Saturday – the skies cleared from a stormy Friday to present a gloriously sunny Sydney Saturday!
no comments You may have seen a post a few weeks ago where we met the lovely Jordyn and Zo on a crisp Winter’s afternoon in Katoomba. Well today I met the precious little bundle of love that they had been so patiently waiting for. Strolling down the path to their house for our newborn photo session I listened to the song of finches in the trees and let the scent of sweet grevilleas fill my lungs. In such a short amount of time so much in the Blue Mountains has transformed, the skies are clearer and each day at dusk the sun lingers that little bit longer. And in this cosy little home that welcomed me this afternoon, with the warmth of a toasty fire blazing, I met the wonderful Lyla almost 10 days old. A Spring baby. no comments I love hearing people’s love stories. How they met. How they fell in love. Their excitement for their future together. Jordyn & Zo’s friends got together and treated them to a Bump and Bub Photo Package (A Maternity Photo Session + a Newborn Photo Session) with me as a baby Shower gift. What was so special is that Jordyn and Zo had been planning on getting ‘proper’ photos done but hadn’t gotten around to it. We had a wonderful stroll near their house in Katoomba, on a cloudy afternoon that gave beautiful soft light for portraits. Jordyn and Zo got to spend a whole hour basking in the wonder of their baby on the way, and in their love for each other. Enjoy. no comments |
